Make a Weekly Meal Plan. I stuck to the rough outline of my meal plan this week. I try not to have too much set in stone because things can change at a flip of a coin with my husbands schedule but I was successful with no extra grocery store trips again.
Try Two New Recipes Each Week. I made tried out this chocolate cake recipe for my husband but made it in a 9×13 inch pan instead. He loved it and definitely wants me to make it again. I had a craving for Italian salad dressing and decided to just make it at home instead of going to the store. I tried out this easy recipe and it has been on repeat on my salads ever since.
Waste Less Food. I didn’t throw away any food this week which I was super excited about. I worked hard to use up any food we had before it went bad.
Make Bed Daily. I got back on track with this goal this week, which has made going in my bedroom much more pleasant.
Read 52 books. I loved the book and movie The Devil Wears Prada back in the day. So I got around to reading the sequel Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns. As far as sequels go, I thought it was a decent and easy read but not quite as good as the first in my opinion.
Focus on decorating the house. We received the curtains that I ordered last week for the family room and I found some rods to use this week. They are now hung and I am loving how they are looking. I don’t know what took me so long to get this done but I am sure glad it is now.
Donate unused items. Finally, got some of my stuff cleared out to Goodwill this week. Now I need to focus on replenishing my stock to make another trip.
